We are flying to Chihuahua Wednesday April 26th. We are looking forward to seeing Mika, Itzel, Mikael, Itza and Federico.
Fede will turn 8 years old during the month we are there and his father will baptize him. Fede has asked me to confirm him a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are all happy to be Mormons.
We talked with Mika and Fede tonight and found out that Mika, the kids and I will go camping, something Itza and Tep are not that happy to do. I'm sure we will have fun.
Andre/Dad Mostert
We had so much fun in Mexico that I didn't have time to report to this blog.
Mika, the boys and I had a very dry, hot Father/Sons outing up into the mountains southwest of Chihuahua. On the way we stopped at a 300 year old Catholic Mission Church which was being restored.
Then, as part of the outing, we hiked a couple of miles up a narrow canyon to what looked like a outdoor Catholic cathedral. Unfortunately my pictures did not turn out well. I think I had the jitters from all that walking..up hill all the way. I will put a few pictures here.
